Sumire has a calm and silent personality. She acts politely towards everyone regardless of age or power. Due her selective mutism, she doesn't speak in public setting, instead, she only opens up on places and with people she feels familiar with only.
Since she was diagnosied with a congenital heart disease when she was a child, she has been home schooled until highschool, or just in general closed off and shut in. She had a lot of problems getting used to the new setting of a public setting, and because of inner school problems, she had to change schools in her last year. Now she has to get used and build relationships where everything is already stablished.
RELATIONSHIPS
Hinari: They met through Remy and since they were both laid-back, they easily connected. Hinari admired Sumire for her writting skills, and was glad to be around to help her with the literature club along the library comittee duties. As for Sumire, she admired Hinari for being able to handle all of the after-school work she got envolved intro, and was happy to meet someone similar to her. As for today, they don't see each other as much, but still enjoy exchanging menssages now and then.
Remy: They met through Montemei's newspaper club. Remy treats Sumire with respect and expects for her to teach her about journalism, while Sumire trust her with everything and feels comfortable about her. They keep close contact even after the revolution in Montemei, and after Sumires changes schools.
Mich: Ex-Classmates back in Montemei and were somehow close. Since Mich was the class representative he helped Sumire to get used to the school, and went to her house when she couldn't come due health related issues.
Yuta: Friends back in Sumire's first and second year. Yuta tried to make her blend in with everyone, and sometimes played guitar for her only. He often visited her when she couldn't be around and overall cared a lot about her. Yuta's accident was one of the main reasons why Sumire changed schools.
Mumu: Fellow member of the Yufukibo's newspaper club. Mumu sees Sumire as a big sister rather than a senior, and admires her for her skills. She likes to follow Sumire around, just to spend time with her. As for Sumire to Mumu, she likes to pamper her and follow the sibling-like dynamic. Sumire also seems to be close to Mumu's parents.
Miori: Met through Hinako, and Miori is very excited to have Sumire around, like a little crush. Even though they are in different classes, Miori sometimes sneakes intro her classroom to be close to her. She likes to cheer her up and often gifts her plants and flowers from the gardening club. As for Sumire, she seems a bit perplexed by Miori's sudden closeness, but seems to enjoy it anyways.
Aiko: Sumire's classmate, but doesn't seem particularly close. Aiko helped her with homework the first few weeks.
Maria: Sumire's classmate, but doesn't seem particularly close. They are neighbors and sometimes walk home together.
Azusa: Sumire's classmate, but doesn't seem particularly close. Has invited Sumire to a lot of concerts and often gives her front-row tickets to band concerts, and Sumire seems to enjoy these greatly.
Hinako: Since Hinako's the student council vice-president, she was assigned with the task of taking care of Sumire. Aside from that task, they seem to genuinely have a good friendship with eachother, as they often look for eachother.
Rui: They met before Sumire changed to Yufukibo, since Rui's Mich step-sister. They seem to get along.
